This BrewBag really simplified the mashing process. I recently ordered a large, custom made size and it was just what I envisioned. I just finish fermenting 50# AG with 20 gallons of water in the new bag. Straining the mash was SO much easier. I lifted the bag slowly over a 12 hour period (with the also purchased Brew Bag pulley system) and let gravity do all the work. Saved the wet grain in the bag in another container for a next generation sour mash run.
I highly recommend this product, it erased my anxiety and dread about the mash straining process.
Fits my kettle perfectly and looks like it will last for many years of brewing. I use it in my 25 gallon pot with a false bottom (batch sparge) and also as a hop bag so my plate chiller doesn’t clog.
First of all I'd like to thank Rex & the "Brew Crew" for creating a very simple, yet highly effective Custom 200Micron bag for our 1 of 2 Machines in the World for our Optical Lab in San Diego. The bags we ordered showed up in less than 10 days & fit absolutely perfectly. This is not a "normal" bag for the application or brewing...but Rex said, "He's love to take on the challenge". To which he over exceeded our expectations. We have other possible applications which will also create custom applications & he is willing again to take on our challenge. Rex & the "The Brew Crew" are a great asset to have for ANY possible Bag or Application you may want to create. Thank You, again Rex!

Second use this past weekend. I bought one for a round cooler. It fits perfect I never dreamed all grain could be so easy. I am sure you could buy a cheaper bag but I cannot believe there’s a better bag. Period.
The static end could be a bit longer to wrap around a supporting beam... otherwise, the ratcheted pulley is excellent!
