really well made, high quality bag.
This is not your ordinary bag. I've only used it a handful of times on my new Anvil Foundry 10.5 but already I can see how well built it is and it feels like it will last for years. I'm able to crush my grains on a finer setting resulting in a greater efficiency and the wort going into the boil is clean.
I bought this to use with the Brewer's Edge Mash & Boil with Pump (M&B) from William's Brewing. The first 2 times I used the M&B, it shut down because there was too much debris in the kettle, so I knew I needed some help. Enter the Brew Bag! On my most recent brew day, I used the Brew Bag, and had no issues. At the end of the mash and sparge the wort was clear and clean up was simple. After dumping the spent grain in my compost bin, I rinsed the bag and washed it with dish detergent. I was a bit concerned about the material trapped in the strapping, but it came out with just a bit more easy scrubbing and rinsing. I love the Brew Bag and recommend it for the M&B or any all-in-one brewing system.
Excellent quality brew bag. Purchased one for my Anvil foundry, very good quality and very well made. Built to last. Makes my brew day better and cleanup a breeze.
I bought one for my 10.5 foundry and it worked great. I was able to do a finer crush on my grains to boost efficiency and it made clean up way faster. I'm most likely going to get one for my igloo mash tun next.
